Primary Languages Classroom Awards

The awards are designed to celebrate the teaching of languages including the support of English as an additional language (EAL) pupils in our Primary schools.

Each award recognises the work and commitment that is undertaken by teachers to ensure their pupils have the best possible education.

By entering the award you are joining many schools that want to share their best practice and celebrate the achievements of their school at classroom level. The awards recognise the holistic vision of the school in promoting and celebrating languages.

There are 5 categories of awards:

• French
• German
• Welsh *NEW*
• Other, such as Italian, Chinese, Urdu, Spanish
• Supporting English as an additional language
